Happy Halloween!

I figured if I was going to sit and hand out candy (since my kids are old enough they don't want chaperones anymore), I might as well make the garage a little more intimidating.

The headlights are covered with blue shopping bags around red lighting gels lined up with the projector beams.  Last year I just put the gels straight on the headlight but they seemed too bright!

With bags dimming down the headlights, now if you walk so that you line up with the projectors' beams the monster will DAZZLE you!  (Watch the video.)  Cool effect!

The flashing light was originally stashed under the bumper with a solid red gel, but I think I like the flashy look instead.  I might need to get an smaller white LED worklight to make the teeth pop more.

Not as impressive in the daylight... but took my decorations to Cars and Coffee last weekend as a preview-- the crowd seemed to see to the humor-- Take THAT you Refresh Model S owners!  <ha>
